Tension rollers

Tensioner rollers are one of the assortment groups offered by ECT Auto Core.

They consist of premium bearings from the Nachi, NSK, SKF brands and high-quality plastic material, which is reinforced with fiberglass. In some rolls, metal is used instead of plastic material.

Tensioner rollers play an important role in driving individual engine components. They protect the V-belt from slipping, for example, on the drive wheel of an alternator or air conditioning compressor. The failure of the tensioner roller usually affects the abrasion of its outer surface. As a result, the roller does not work fully efficiently and can even be stopped, while immobilizing the vehicle engine. Symptoms of a malfunction of the tensioner roller may be characteristic sounds – squeaks – arising during engine start-up.
