Wheel Bearing & Hub Assembly

The wheel bearing and hub assembly ensures that wheels rotate smoothly with minimal friction while supporting the entire vehicle’s weight. Faulty bearings or hubs can lead to noise, instability, and unsafe driving conditions. At ECT AutoCore Trading, we supply factory-sealed wheel bearing and hub assemblies sourced from European OEM manufacturers. Our products guarantee precision, reliability, and long-lasting durability, helping workshops and distributors maintain vehicle safety and customer trust.

Car bearings

ECT Auto Core has a wide range of  bearings in its range. They are designed for most car brands and models. CX bearings are characterized by high quality, which ensures their long and trouble-free use, and consequently affects the safety and comfort of driving.

Wheel bearings are components of the suspension system, the purpose of which is to allow the wheel to rotate while driving. They consist of an outer and inner ring and balls that are placed between them. While driving the vehicle, these elements move along the treadmills are in constant motion, which ensures smooth operation of the wheels.

Symptoms of bearing wear in a car wheel are easy to observe. Typical signs of wheel bearing failure include: characteristic vibrations and sounds generated while driving, braking and turning; vibrations of the steering wheel and around the wheels and noticeable slack in the wheel. Detection of any of the above symptoms should encourage any driver to quickly check the technical condition of the vehicle with a mechanic.

Hubs

Wheel hubs and bearings are key elements of the wheel construction. They play an important role in the safety and comfort of driving. Therefore, they require immediate replacement in case of damage.

Wheel hub repair kits are the leading product offered by ECT Auto Core. We offer over 1200 references dedicated to most vehicles on European roads. Depending on the design solution, typical for a given brand, model and year of the vehicle, the sets consist of: tapered bearing, double-row angular contact ball bearing, 1st, second or third generation hub and components that allow the replacement of the component: nut, sleeve, bolt, seating ring, seal and spring ring.
The wheel hubs we offer are characterized by stable and reliable quality, guaranteed thanks to many years of cooperation with suppliers who are well aware of the production requirements set by ECT Auto Core and enjoy our trust.
In terms of construction, there are three types of hubs:

First generation tust

The first generation combined hub is equipped with a double-row angular contact ball bearing enclosed in one, sealed housing. One of the inner raceways of the bearing rests on the ball bearing joint of the drive axle, while the other raceway is pressed against the semi-axis by the central hub nut.

This generation of bearings is equipped with factory grease and preload set by the manufacturer. The amount of bearing tension is determined by the amount of the tightening torque of the central nut. In hubs of this type, the bearing is a replaceable part and can be disassembled or mounted on a hydraulic press.

Second generation hust

The second-generation combined hub uses a much more modern design solution. The outer ring of the bearing was abandoned, making a raceway in hub material equipped with a flange.

It has vibrating elements of the brake system and running wheels. The second-generation hub uses a factory-lubricated bearing with a preload specified by the manufacturer. Thanks to this solution, the number of elements has been reduced, production costs have been reduced, and the weight of bearing elements has been reduced. The second generation hust, if necessary, is replaced in its entirety.

Third generation thust

The third generation hurd is in the form of a whole, non-disassable module, which needs to be replaced in the whole in the event of a failure. The bearing used serves as both a hub and a wheel slewer. The internal treadmill is made in a hub, and the flange is used to mount the brake disc, wheel and jovers. These types of hubs are often equipped with a speed reading module that supports ABS.

The design used in the third generation hub makes the module lighter and easier to install.
